Shipping and returns

GENERAL SHIPPING

We deliver across Switzerland, Europe, and internationally. Shipping is free within Switzerland and Europe. For international orders outside Europe, additional shipping fees may apply.

All parcels are shipped from our Geneva studio using trusted carriers : Swiss Post for deliveries within Switzerland, UPS for European orders, and DHL Express for international shipments. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. 

Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days, though times may vary depending on the destination. A signature is required upon delivery to ensure your package arrives safely. Please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@imanama.co if you have any questions.

CUSTOM DUTIES AND TAXES

Custom duties and taxes for orders placed outside Switzerland are not included in the price of the item or the shipping fees.

We are unable to estimate or cover these costs. Any applicable duties and taxes will be collected by the carrier prior to delivery. We recommend contacting your local customs office to verify any applicable fees before placing your order.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Due to the nature of our business, we are unable to accept changes or cancellations after placement of your order on our website. If you would like to discuss further in regards to your order, please contact hello@imanama.co within 48 hours of receiving for further assistance.

LOST OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that a safe and secure delivery address is provided and that all shipping information is entered accurately. We are unable to refund or replace orders due to incorrect shipping addresses, left, lost, or stolen packages. We will not be held liable for lost packages once proof of delivery has been received, however, please don’t hesitate to contact us right away and we will do whatever we can to help you locate your package. We provide a signature request to all shipments.  

If your order arrives in damaged condition, please contact us at hello@imanama.co with your order number and photos of the damage within 48 hours of receiving for further assistance.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We hope that you will be satisfied with your items. However, if for any reason, you are unsatisfied or your order presents production defects, you can return the product(s) for a full refund or an exchange (subject to stock availability) within 14 days of receipt.

To organise the return, as well as exchange and / or refund, kindly email us at hello@imanama.co for instructions and/or to make sure we put aside the product that you wish to exchange for. Please however note that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund you receive. 

If you are shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. To be eligible for a return, the items need to be returned unused and in original condition. They may of course be unpacked to be examined but please be careful with their packaging, which should be returned along with all the goods accompanying them. 

Please note that the customer is responsible for ensuring the goods are returned in the same condition as they were shipped to them. In any case, please clearly mark the package as “returned goods” when shipping it back to us.

A receipt or proof of purchase is required to organise a return. Additionally, we only accept returns of articles purchased through our Iman Ama E-Shop. Anything purchased from authorised sellers must be returned to the place of purchase.

REFUND

Please note there are certain situations where only partial or no refunds are granted (if applicable): any item (i) not in its original condition, (ii) damaged or missing parts for reasons not resulting from a mistake on our end and/or (iii) a return is made more than 14 days after delivery. Only full priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item(s), we will send you an email to notify you that we have received them, and if they are or eligible or not for a return. If you paid using a credit / debit card, the refund will be processed and go onto that same original method of payment. It may take up to 14 days before the money is credited.

REPAIRS

Our handbags are crafted with great care and attention to quality. However, we do not offer or guarantee repairs once the product has been used.

As a small and independent brand, we currently do not have the capacity to offer in-house repair services. That said, upon request, we would be happy to connect you with a trusted professional.
